Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Business Analyst in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to drive AML/financial crime compliance initiatives. You will gather requirements, translate regulations into specs, and support KYC, monitoring, and reporting workflows across EU frameworks.

The role involves collaboration with compliance and technology teams and UAT support. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial services, strong AML/KYC domain knowledge, and experience with NetReveal and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Strong domain expertise in AML / KYC / Financial Crime.
• Mandatory experience with AMLA / EU AML regulatory programs.
• Good understanding of EU AML regulations (AMLD, AMLR, AMLA framework).
• Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk assessment.
• Strong skills in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation.
• Experience in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to AML / financial crime compliance.
• Lead and support initiatives aligned with AMLA regulations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Support implementation across KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and reporting.
• Perform gap analysis against AMLA and broader EU AML regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, and technology teams for solution delivery.
• Support UAT, validation, and implementation of financial crime solutions.
• Prepare documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and compliance reports.
• Experience with financial crime/AML systems, especially NetReveal.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and large-scale regulatory transformation programs.
