Job summary

The candidate will mentor junior team members, work hands-on with tools like Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and BigQuery, and operate in an agile environment with a focus on data accuracy and performance in cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Applications or equivalent IT degree.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and big data tools.
• In-depth exposure to data lake/warehouse architectures and ETL design.
• Healthcare domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand multiple data sources (XML, CSV, Relational, Excel) to feed the Data Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture data ingestion requirements and designs.
• Mentor the team on big data tools and best practices.
• Hands-on work across listed tools and technologies.
• Extract data from Data Lake to feed Data Warehouse and vice versa.
• Incremental and full data loads per requirements.
• Follow configuration and change management processes.
• Resolve data issues and optimize performance in cloud environments.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Maintain high data accuracy and work in an agile team.

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Skills:

• Tools: Strong knowledge of SQL,Google cloud Platform,Big Query,Python,CI/CD Pipeline,Git,Airflow composer, Big Data,Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Python, Java, Shell Scripting, Cron, Hbase, HDFS, Impala, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, MySQL.


• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in relevant technologies


• Experience in Healthcare (preferred)

Education: Bachelor/Master of Computer Application or equivalent engineering/IT degree from an accredited University.

Job Duties:

• Understanding multiple data sources like XMLs’, Relational, CSV, Txt, and Excel to feed into Data Lake.


• Work with technical and business stakeholders to understand the data sources, ingestion, movement, structures, and processes in existing data warehouses to be able to generate requirements and designs.


• Mentoring the team on big data tool and technologies and helping them in all technical aspects including best practices.


• Should have complete hands on all above tool and technologies.


• Extracting data from Data Lake and feeding into Data warehouse and vice versa.


• Extraction of data incrementally and full load as per requirements.


• Follow configuration and change management process.


• Ability to solve problems with data


• Working with cloud computing environments


• Tune solutions to improve performance and end-user experience


• Contribute to group knowledge sharing platforms and best practice


• High attention to data accuracy


• Ability to work in an agile team


• Critical thinking to ask questions, determine best course and offer solutions


• Effective analytical and decision-making skills
