Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Business Analyst to translate business problems into product requirements for AI-powered features and workflows.

You will write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs, and work with cross-functional teams through the development lifecycle to ensure delivery that meets customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience in software product development.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise software products and collaboration tools like Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence/Figma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineering teams to translate problems into product requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and UX requirements for AI-powered features and workflows.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes (where appropriate), and functional specifications.
• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in feature prioritization, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Validate delivered functionality through acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet customer expectations.
• Analyze customer feedback and product usage to identify AI-driven improvements.
• Define and document agent workflows, decision flows, prompts, and business rules for AI-enabled experiences.
• Collaborate with UX teams to ensure solutions are intuitive and align with Platform UX standards.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering teams to ensure adoption of Prism capabilities across products.
• Support product demonstrations, customer reviews, and stakeholder presentations.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong customer focus and ability to translate customer needs into product capabilities.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or intelligent automation (preferred).
• Experience defining AI-assisted workflows or automation scenarios (preferred).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and AI-assisted user experiences (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise software products (preferred).
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, or similar collaboration tools (preferred).
• Understanding of UX principles, design systems, and user-centered design (preferred).
