Job summary

Aligned Automation seeks a Business Analyst with AI/GenAI exposure to bridge business requirements and technical AI teams. You will own discovery, requirements, and workflow definitions, crafting BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

You will also facilitate workshops, translate business needs into AI use cases, and support end-to-end delivery in Agile environments. Custodian of data workflows, APIs, and knowledge graphs, you will work with stakeholders to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in business analysis, preferably with data, analytics, automation, or AI initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills.
• Experience creating BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
• Hands-on genAI/LLM experience and ability to map AI use cases to business needs.
• Proficient with SQL, APIs/JSON, and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead BRD/FRD creation, use cases, and functional documentation.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Bridge business requirements with AI/GenAI teams across discovery to deployment.
• Define agent behaviors, business rules, inputs/outputs, and exception handling.

Years of Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Business Analyst with AI/GenAI exposure

Core Business Analysis

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in data, analytics, automation, or AI initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process mapping, gap analysis, and business process improvement skills.
• Experience creating BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and functional documentation.
• Ability to facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

AI / GenAI Experience

• Hands‑on exposure to GenAI/LLM‑based solutions, preferably including Agentic AI.
• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, knowledge bases, and AI workflows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI/Agent use cases and functional workflows.
• Experience defining agent behavior, business rules, inputs/outputs, exception scenarios, and human‑in‑the‑loop requirements.
• Understanding of AI response evaluation, including accuracy, relevance, groundedness, hallucination, and business acceptance criteria.

Data & Technical Skills

• Good understanding of structured and unstructured data and data‑quality concepts.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to perform basic data analysis.
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, system integrations, and application workflows.
• Exposure to platforms such as DataRobot, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, Vertex AI, or equivalent would be valuable.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs/Stardog is an added advantage.

Delivery Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Ability to work closely with Product Owners, AI/ML engineers, developers, architects, and QA teams.
• Support AI use cases across discovery → requirements → POC → testing → deployment → adoption.
• Strong documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.

The key requirement should be a strong BA who understands AI/GenAI sufficiently to bridge business requirements and technical AI teams, and who can independently drive use‑case discovery, requirements, workflow definition, documentation, and validation.
