Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in the travel domain, specifically within travel agencies, to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on exposure to GDS platforms (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport), end‑to‑end travel operations, and strong technical understanding of data and integrations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Analyze and document travel business processes including Reservations, Ticketing, EMD, Exchanges & Refunds
• Work extensively with GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport) for booking, pricing, shopping, fare quotes, and ticketing workflows
• Support NDC integrations and API mapping, including analysis of JSON and XML payloads
• Perform data analysis using SQL and other data tools to support business decisions
• Create clear documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases
• Collaborate with development and QA teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements in dynamic, high-volume environments
• Support stakeholders with data visualization, reporting, and insights
• Required Skills & Experience
• Strong travel domain experience, preferably with travel agencies
• Hands‑on expertise in GDS systems: Sabre, Amadeus, and/or Travelport
• Solid understanding of:
• Reservations & Ticketing
• EMD, Exchanges & Refunds
• NDC concepts and implementations
• Experience with API mapping and integrations
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and travel‑related datasets
• Working knowledge of JSON and XML data formats
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
