Job summary

Role Description

The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating 3D models, ensuring model accuracy and consistency, supporting clash detection and resolution, and preparing submittals and project documentation. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to maintain BIM standards and workflows throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, requiring regular interaction with cross-functional teams and adherence to project timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills, including experience with BIM software platforms and model management.
• Candidates should possess BIM Coordination and Submittals skills to support interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and documentation processes.
• Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge to interpret drawings, design intent, and integrate architectural elements into BIM models.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) skills to develop and coordinate MEP systems within integrated project models.
• Relevant experience in construction or engineering projects, particularly in BIM-focused roles.
• Proficiency with industry-standard BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with BIM standards and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; BIM certification or specialized training is an advantage.
