The role requires 8+ years of Revit MEP experience, strong detailing, and proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Dynamo. Travel is minimal; collaboration with field teams is expected to deliver accurate construct

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Revit MEP is essential.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Travel frequency varies by project/assignment.

Responsibilities

• Drawing Development – Prepares basic to moderately complex engineering and construction drawings using intelligent modeling and/or CAD.
• Drawing Support – Performs CAD/technical support tasks such as verifying model integrity, plotting, packaging, and file management.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of basic to moderately complex Intelligent Modeling and/or CADD drafting assignments in accordance with the firm, client, and/or industry standards and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drawing Development – Prepares basic to moderately complex engineering and construction drawings using intelligent modeling and/or CAD which may include multiple views, detail drawings, general arrangement/layout drawings through proper translation of level of design (LOD) definitions as applicable. Utilizes information from vendors, catalogs, technical manuals, etc. in the preparation of intelligent models and construction drawings.
• Drawing Support – Performs CAD/technical support tasks such as verifying intelligent model integrity, plotting drawings, assembling drawing packages, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages, file management and/or filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, and coordinating specifications with drawings, etc.
• Engineering Support – Performs basic engineering calculations using accepted formulas and references.
• Field Support – Supports field assignments as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

Skills & Abilities

• Good communication skills with strict attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and contributor to the overall team.
• Advanced working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks software.
• Basic knowledge in Revit Dynamo.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office for design related tasks primarily within the Intelligent Modeling/CAD environment.
