OP Mobility in Pune, India seeks a Commodity Buyer to define and implement commodity strategy, manage the supplier base, and lead sourcing activities. You will analyze markets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating trials with suppliers, and driving cost reductions while ensuring quality, cost, and timing (QCT) for assigned commodities within CSR and GST guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement commodity strategy, manage supply base.
• Conduct market analysis (benchmarking, trends, innovation).
• Manage supplier relationships per purchasing policy.
• Lead sourcing process and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle supplier contracts and agreements. Vendor Registration & Tempo Adherence in terms of Supplier Documents (Updating in Tempo)
• SAP - Hands-on experience on purchase orders, vendor management, and material master.
• Ensure Quality, Cost, and Timing (QCT) for the commodity.
• Drive technical savings and participate in cost-reduction initiatives.
• Internal co-ordination for trials along with supplier confirmation
• Lead problem-solving processes when required with Resourcing / VAVE
• Manage commodity risk (supplier financial health, M&A, dependency).
• Prepare and control purchasing budget; manage portfolio within budget.
