Job summary

ZF Group India in Chennai is seeking a BSW Developer to design, develop, and debug Basic Software modules within AUTOSAR architecture. You will perform unit testing, analyze defects, and ensure ASPICE compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic R&D environment.

The role requires strong Embedded C/C++ skills, experience with Infineon AURIX MCUs, and familiarity with automotive tools (CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape).

Qualifications

• Strong Embedded C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with 16/32-bit MCUs, Infineon AURIX TC2xx/TC3xx.
• Knowledge of peripherals, low-level drivers and safety concepts.
• Exposure to AUTOSAR architecture and Startup/Shutdown concepts.
• Experience with MCAL, CDD and sensor drivers is desirable.
• Familiar with CANoe, CANalyzer and CANape for analysis and debugging.

What you can look forward to as BSW Developer (m/f/d):

• Design, develop, and debug Basic Software (BSW) modules in accordance with project requirements and AUTOSAR architecture.
• Perform unit testing and functional testing of developed software modules to ensure correct functionality and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve software defects, integration issues, and performance-related problems.
• Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes, coding standards, and software development guidelines.
• 2-4 years of experience in relevant area; Experience in automotive embedded development is added advantage.

Your profile as BSW Developer (m/f/d):

• Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++ with experience in software design, debugging, and testing.
• Hands‑on experience with 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers, preferably Infineon AURIX TC2xx/TC3xx or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals, low-level driver development, and basic safety mechanisms.
• Exposure to AUTOSAR architecture, including Startup, Shutdown concepts.
• Experience in developing and debugging MCAL, Complex Device Drivers (CDD), and sensor drivers is desirable.
• Working knowledge of automotive tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANape for communication analysis and debugging.
• Familiarity with software profiling/debugging tools and embedded software development processes.
