Job summary

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited is seeking an operations-focused professional to manage a branch of an integrated diagnostic centre in Hyderabad. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and efficient day-to-day operations across multiple departments.

You will maintain legal documents, monitor emergency drug stocks, and oversee electrical safety and waste management. Escalation of unresolved issues to management is expected to ensure uninterrupted services.

Qualifications

• Manage end-to-end branch operations for an integrated diagnostics centre.
• Ensure compliance for Trade License, Medical Establishment Registration, AERB, Safety Radiation.
• Adhere to PNDT ACT, State Medical Council Shops and Establishment Act, Labour Laws, Pollution control.
• Oversee Biomedical waste, Fire Safety, and Waste management at the branch.
• Monitor documentation and ensure timely escalation of maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations from daily activities to regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and update legal documents in hard copy and scanned formats.
• Check expiry of emergency drugs and ensure availability in MRI/CT/Cardiology.
• Ensure electrical safety and transformer-related compliance with boards.
• Escalate maintenance or Biomedical issues if unresolved beyond 48 hours.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end branch operations for an integrated diagnostics centre
• Responsible for all statutory compliances of Branch - Trade License, Medical Establishment Registration, AERB compliance, Safety Radiation protocols, complete compliance to PNDT ACT, State Medical Council Shops and Establishment Act, Labour Laws, Pollution control Board, Bio Medical Wastage compliance, Fire Safety etc,.
• Responsible for General waste, Pest Control and biohazard waste management. Also to ensure that both Pest Control & Biomedical waste slips are acknowledged by the branch manager themselves before they submit to the corporate office for Payment.
• Responsible for maintenance of all legal documents in both forms Hardcopy and Scanned copy Consent Forms (CT/MRI, Special X-Ray procedures, TMT, Special Lab procedures and PNDT Form F.
• All the emergency drugs are checked for expiry and are maintained at all important departments like MRI, CT & Cardiology.
• Also to ensure all the Electricity board requirements with related to Transformers are met and maintained – For eg. Fire buckets and Rubber mats near the Transformers.
• Any Maintenance related concerns or Biomedical related concerns – If they are pending more than 48hrs then it needs to be escalated directly to management with a copy to your cluster heads.
