Job Objective
To manage the overall business and operations of the branch by driving business growth, customer acquisition, CASA/liability mobilization, cross-selling of banking and third-party products, team productivity, customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Sales
- Drive overall branch business and achieve assigned business targets.
- Grow CASA and liability business through acquisition and deepening of existing relationships.
- Drive cross-selling of Retail Assets, Business Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Cards, Forex and other fee-based products.
- Identify new business opportunities within the branch catchment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with HNI, affluent and key customers.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly business performance and ensure achievement of branch scorecard.
2. Branch P&L & Portfolio Management
- Manage branch Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Monitor book movement, revenue generation and branch profitability.
- Ensure optimum utilization of branch resources.
- Drive customer acquisition and increase wallet share through relationship deepening.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure superior customer experience and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Conduct customer engagement activities and local marketing initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
4. Team Management
- Lead, motivate and manage the branch team to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor individual productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and training.
- Ensure proper allocation of roles and responsibilities and control team attrition.
- Build a high-performance and customer-centric team culture.
5. Operations, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure complete adherence to YES BANK policies, processes and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with KYC/AML and internal control requirements.
- Maintain branch operational standards and ensure audit readiness.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS and other required reports.
- Identify and escalation operational, regulatory and business risks.
- Ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets.
