Job summary

Whirlpool India is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join the Finance General team. The role focuses on financial planning, receivables management, and governance across the manufacturing footprint.

You will handle credit reviews, collections, SOX compliance, and cost controls while supporting trade partners and inventory processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 3-5 years of experience in FMCG/Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to partner with business units.
• Knowledge of GST, indirect taxes and financial controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receivables: collections, banking and credit limit reviews.
• SOX adherence, balance confirmations and branch audit coordination.
• D&A deployment, scheme validation and issuing credit notes as needed.
• Service and Sales finance support including controllership of SG&A and inventory processes.

The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

Responsible for Commercial activities

Your responsibilities will include

Receivables 1. Collection & banking 2. Credit limit reviews 3. Deviation approvals 4. Securitization 5. Co -ordination for trade partner appointment /closure 6. Monitoring Ageing & Overdues 7. Inoperative and legal Inventory & Supply Chain 1. Slow moving / obsolete.. Tracking and liquidation support 2. Defective / Graded liquidations 3. Monitoring quarterly physical verification of Inventories 4. Conducting periodic CFA Audit. Sales Support & Business partnering 1. D&A effectiveness & identifying cause of change 2. Coordination and closure of pay for performance schemes 3. Support driving mix improvement 4. Reviewing & controlling branch SG&A 5. Connect with Trade and closure of open issues Controls 1. Periodic sign-offs and balance confirmations 2. Branch audit coordination and support 3. SOX adherence 4. Drive commercial discipline Scheme Management 1. D&A Deployment and communication 2. Analytical Insight for effective rollout of schemes 3. Validating & schemes closure 4. Issuing Credit Notes 5. Reconciliations Service Coordination 1. Service Inventory Related Matters 2. Minimum requirements

Chartered Accountant 3-5 years of experience
