Job summary

Technomech Oil & Energy is seeking a Boring Operator to operate heavy-duty boring machines for machining rolls, roll shells, shafts, and other large rotating components.

The role requires setting up and aligning jobs, interpreting engineering drawings and BOMs, and performing boring operations with high dimensional accuracy using micrometers and dial bore gauges. CAD/CAM training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty horizontal or conventional boring machines.
• ITI Machinist, Tool & Die, or CAD/CAM training is a plus, not mandatory.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs and dimensional requirements.
