Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Boom Barrier Technician role based in Mumbai. The Boom Barrier Technician will install, configure, and commission boom barriers and related access control equipment at residential societies, ensuring proper integration with the NoBrokerHood platform. The role includes performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on boom barriers, sensors, controllers, and wiring to minimize downtime. The technician will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and connectivity issues, elevate complex problems when needed, and document work performed. The role also involves coordinating with site administrators, guards, and internal teams for smooth operations, training on-ground staff on basic usage and safety, and following all safety and quality standards while working at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for boom barriers and access control systems.
• Hands-on expertise in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of mechanical, electrical, and basic electronic components.
• 0.6 months to 3 years of experience as a technician, preferably in boom barriers, gate automation, security systems, or related fields.
• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams, use hand tools and testing instruments, and follow safety procedures at customer sites.
• Customer-focused approach with clear communication skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel within Mumbai and nearby areas, with flexibility for occasional extended hours based on site requirements.
