The role requires hands‑on experience with various crane types, electrical troubleshooting, site coordination with operators, riggers and engineers, and reporting on inspections, spares and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Tower Crane operations.
• Hands-on experience with Tower Cranes, Luffing Jib Cranes, Flat Top Cranes, and Hammerhead/Cat-head Cranes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, panels, motors, drives, sensors, limit switches, and safety systems.
• Exposure to mechanical and hydraulic crane systems will be preferred.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise tower crane erection, commissioning, maintenance, climbing, shifting and dismantling activities.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning checks.
• Diagnose and coordinate rectification of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot crane electrical control systems, limit switches, safety devices, and control panels.
• Ensure proper functioning of Load Moment Limiter, Overload Limiter, Height Limiter, Anti-Collision System, Anemometer, and other safety systems.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and breakdown activities to ensure maximum crane uptime.
• Coordinate with operators, riggers, erection teams, project engineers, technicians, and client representatives.
• Coordinate climbing/height enhancement and shifting activities.
• Maintain inspection, maintenance, breakdown, and crane status reports.
• Ensure availability of critical electrical spares, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, lifting plans, and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies wherever required.
• Support breakdown investigation and prepare basic root-cause analysis reports.
