Job summary

ktbsindia is seeking a Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accuracy in accounts, and assist with month-end closings. You'll use standard accounting software and work with operations teams to align project costs with reporting.

The role requires 2–5 years in bookkeeping, solid Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP. Prior exposure to real estate or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on data accuracy.

• Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions.

Role Overview:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and supporting month-end closings. You will work with industry-standard accounting software to maintain up-to-date financial records, support reporting requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions in line with company policies and GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Generate and review financial reports for management and auditors.
• Work closely with operations teams to align project cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (real estate, hospitality, logistics) to ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following accounting systems:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience inreal estateand/orhospitality industrypreferred.
• Bonus: Exposure tologistics or construction project accounting.
• Excellent Excel and data reconciliation skills.
