Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) seeks a BOM Validation Engineer to support BOM related tasks and ensure correct parts and quantities during vehicle assembly. You will run vehicle-level BOM audits and generate template-based reports.

The role requires strong English communication, basic MS Office proficiency, and knowledge of automotive systems and BOM management. Collaboration with engineers is essential to resolve BOM quality issues.

Qualifications

• Understanding of BOM and variant/feature coding
• Proficiency in MS Office applications for reports and documentation
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Experience performing BOM quality audits and part validation

Responsibilities

• BOM validation engineering and support for BOM related tasks
• Run quality audits at vehicle level BOM to ensure correct parts and quantities
• Generate reports based on templates and macros
• Liaise with part engineer to resolve BOM quality issues

• 3DX tool knowledge is added advantage
• Must be proficient in MS applications (word, excel, power-point, outlook email)
• Good written and verbal English communication
