Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced BOM specialist to create and maintain EBOM and MBOM for current and future vehicle programs. The role will require close collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier, and After Sales teams in Chennai.

You will analyze product structures, validate part numbers and descriptions, and manage BOM changes arising from engineering modifications. Data quality in PLM systems will be a key responsibility for ensuring accurate configurations

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain EBOM and MBOM for new and existing vehicles.
• Analyze product structures and verify part hierarchy.
• Validate part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and attributes.
• Manage BOM changes due to engineering modifications.
• Process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Perform BOM comparison and gap analysis across vehicle versions.
• Maintain lifecycle information for parts (new, modified, obsolete, replaced).
• Support spare parts and service BOM creation.
• Ensure BOM accuracy before vehicle production milestones.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier, and After Sales teams.
• Perform data quality checks in PLM systems.
