Capgemini is seeking a results-driven professional in Chennai to lead Product Introduction and PID management, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and SKU transitions. You will coordinate NPD, packaging artwork, and BOM governance across cross-functional teams, driving on-time launches and data accuracy.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLM/MDM, SAP, and strong stakeholder collaboration to manage multi-workstream timelines and regulatory/commercial requirements.

Formación

• Understanding of NPD lifecycle and Master Data Creation processes (MDM).
• Experience with MDM & PLM domains; familiarity with SAP tooling.
• Knowledge of SKU management, BOM creation, and master data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage PID documents with product specs and launch timelines.
• Coordinate end-to-end NPD and product changes, including prerequisites and ownership.
• Develop artwork briefs and coordinate packaging artwork with suppliers for compliance.
• Create and validate BOM structures and master data in PLM/MDM systems; ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Introduction & PID Management

• Create and manage Product Introduction Documents (PID) with complete product specifications and launch timelines
• Coordinate SKU lifecycle including Limited Edition (LE RSKU) to regular SKU (RSKU) transition
• Collaborate with Master Data teams to initiate and track SKU creation
• Consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply, Regulatory, Finance)
• Define launch milestones, dependencies, and risks
• Perform PID data validation and ensure alignment with demand forecasts and SKU hierarchy

2. NPD Project Coordination (Product Changes / New Launches)

• Coordinate end-to-end execution of New Product Development (NPD) and product changes
• Set up system prerequisites (PLM/MDM readiness, master data validation, documentation)
• Conduct project kick-off meetings and assign ownership across workstreams
• Manage phase-in and phase-out strategy for product portfolio
• Track execution against timelines, resolve issues, and manage RAIDD logs
• Monitor production, delivery, and trade readiness
• Provide status updates in governance forums

3. Artwork Management (Packaging & Compliance)

• Develop artwork briefs based on marketing, regulatory, and supply chain inputs
• Coordinate with suppliers to create packaging artwork
• Review iterations and ensure compliance with quality, legal, and brand standards
• Manage approval workflows and obtain Good to Print status
• Ensure final artwork is approved and released to production teams

4. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Material Master Management

• Create and validate central and local material codes in MDM/PLM systems
• Develop and maintain BOM structures for new products
• Ensure BOM completeness, accuracy, and compliance with master data standards
• Collaborate with supply and sourcing teams to resolve BOM gaps
• Handle local market BOM customization and planning parameters
• Support partial BOM approvals and final BOM release for production

5. Product Delisting & Lifecycle Closure

• Coordinate SKU deactivation across systems and ensure complete removal
• Manage regulatory and compliance closure activities
• Ensure financial reconciliation including pricing, contracts, rebates, and returns
• Track and resolve delisting-related issues via governance frameworks
• Provide closure updates and archive all product lifecycle documentation

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of NPD lifecycle & Master data Code Creation (MDM)
• Experience in MDM & PLM (Domain ), SAP (tool), MS Excel.
• Knowledge of SKU management, BOM creation, and master data governance
• Excellent stakeholder management from B grades and coordination, communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (issue tracking, RCA)
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
