Role: Blue Yonder SCPO Consultant

Role Summary

The BY SCPO AMS Consultant is responsible for providing Application Management Services (AMS) support, enhancement and continuous improvement for Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions. The role involves incident management, change requests, business support, system configuration, stakeholder management and driving operational excellence across planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

AMS Support & Operations

• Provide L2/L3 support for Blue Yonder SCPO applications.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor batch jobs, interfaces and system performance.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams and vendors for issue resolution.

Functional Expertise

• Support one or more SCPO modules:
• Demand Planning
• Fulfillment
• Understand end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
• Conduct impact analysis for business requirements and system changes.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Configure Blue Yonder solutions based on business needs.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT and regression testing.
• Recommend process improvements and system optimizations.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business planners, supply chain teams and global stakeholders.
• Provide status updates during governance meetings.
• Support audit, compliance and documentation activities.

Required Skills :

Blue Yonder / SCM Skills

• Strong experience in Blue Yonder (JDA) SCPO modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Fulfillment.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes.
• Experience in production support, enhancements, release management and system optimization.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, query tuning, stored procedures, packages and performance optimization.
• Experience in Shell Scripting (Unix/Linux) for automation, log monitoring, batch execution and operational support activities.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management.
• Knowledge of interfaces and integrations between Blue Yonder and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience in monitoring batch jobs, scheduler tools and application logs.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic system administration activities.

Additional Responsibilities

Production Support & Technical Operations

• Perform incident investigation using SQL, PL/SQL, application logs and shell scripts.
• Analyze data issues and interface failures between SCPO and upstream/downstream applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve support efficiency.
• Coordinate change deployments and support release activities.
• Track and manage incidents, service requests and problem records through ServiceNow.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
• Support batch scheduling, job monitoring and system health checks.

Preferred Experience

• 5-12 years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Blue Yonder/JDA SCPO support or implementation.
• Experience in PL/SQL development, Shell Scripting and ServiceNow operations.
• Experience working in an AMS environment with SLA/KPI-driven support.
• Exposure to SAP ECC/S4HANA integrations.
• Experience leading offshore support teams and interacting with global business stakeholders.
