Scope
- The role is as a Blue Yonder Technical Architect (SCPO – Supply Chain Planning and Optimization) responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
- Core responsibilities: architecting and designing (with counterparts, customers, and architects) and leading the technical team on projects.
- Responsible for service delivery of product implementation and related integration.
- Lead projects and manage technical teams; grow with a team of 80+ associates in India.
- Passionate about new technologies and products; quick learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Operating System: Windows, Unix
- Database: RDBMS concepts, Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL/PLSQL
- Cloud & Architecture: Azure or equivalent, microservices architecture, multi‑tenant
- Implementation experience using SCPO Platform (Demand, SCP/ESP, Fulfill, S&OP, IO)
- Preferred: prior Blue Yonder Platform (PDC‑Snowflake) and cognitive planning exposure or training
- Next‑gen skills: GenAI/Prompt Engineering, data science, analytics, Agile, Python, AI/ML, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, databases/data platforms (Snowflake, MongoDB, NoSQL, etc.)
- Professional attributes: excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organization & project documentation skills.
- Meticulous planning with attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills.
- Domain knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and integration with other systems.
- Reporting skills (PowerBI, Cognos, etc.).
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and assess existing customers’ Blue Yonder solutions for migration to Cognitive Planning.
- Implement, migrate, enhance, and manage services, integration, and custom projects at customer sites or offshore.
- Estimate implementation workloads; assess business needs beyond the standard solution.
- Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and project teams to define functional and technical needs.
- Design and develop platform workflow, UI, integration scripts, data mapping, data modelling, and data loading.
- Provide technical support: QA/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming.
- Handle diverse scope activities requiring data analysis.
- Provide internal and external training.
- Support internal development projects.
- Accelerate Time‑to‑Value by delivering iteratively.
- Continuously upskill on Blue Yonder product suite.
- Flexible working with overlapping time zones.
- Identify incremental revenue opportunities within existing projects.
- Create reusable artifacts and automation to reduce lifecycle and post‑go‑live errors.
What We Are Looking For
- 7 to 16 years’ experience in software industry; ideally a consultant who has led 3‑6+ implementation cycles.
- Strong programming and problem‑solving skills.
- Technical background with Supply Chain Planning industry experience.
- Expertise in performance tuning and benchmarking.
- Technical expertise on PL/SQL, database, ETL, platform, Python and Perl scripting.
- Experience leading, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise solutions (cloud or on‑premises).
- Understanding of web technologies and API fundamentals.
- Strong cloud & architecture design experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform.
- Hands‑on development skills maintained.
- Passionate about new technologies and quick learning; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
