Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum availability of electrical equipment during the shift.
• Restore equipment to service within minimum possible downtime through effective troubleshooting.
• Prompt identification and rectification of electrical breakdowns.
• Effective coordination with Control Room Operators for safe and timely equipment handover.
• Timely execution of electrical maintenance activities across assigned areas during the shift.
• Completion of scheduled inspections as per checklists and maintenance plans.
• 100% adherence to shift checklists and preventive maintenance routines.
• Early identification of abnormalities in HT & LT systems, drives, instruments, and gas analyzers.
• Effective coordination with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance teams for smooth plant operation.
• Clear communication during breakdowns, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Accurate and timely logging of all shift activities, breakdowns, and actions in the SAP shift logbook.
• Maintenance and updating of electrical drawings, records, and documentation.
• 100% compliance with Electrical Lockout / Permit-to-Work systems and safety procedures.
• Achievement of zero electrical safety incidents during the shift.
• Effective on the spot decision-making during breakdowns to minimize production loss and downtime.
• Shutdown & Special Activity Support for planned shutdowns, testing, and commissioning
