JSW Steel seeks a Blast Furnace Electrical Area In-Charge (Electrical Maintenance) to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems supporting production targets and plant availability.

You will oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of E&I systems, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, conduct RCFA, manage spares, and leverage SAP PM to improve MTBF and furnace stability.

Aufgaben

• 1. Ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation systems to support production targets and plant availability.
• 2. Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of E&I systems, including process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, analytical), control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, servers, networks), and electrical systems (motors, drives, MCCs, power distribution, protection).
• 3. Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies to minimize downtime, enhance equipment reliability, and improve overall system performance.
• 4. Drive reliability improvement initiatives by implementing robust maintenance practices, ensuring critical spares availability, and developing redundancy for critical equipment to improve MTBF.
• 5. Periodically review EFMEA for critical equipment and systems, ensuring timely implementation of risk mitigations and countermeasures.
• 6. Conduct and review Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for major and recurring failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce MTTR and enhance MTBF.
• 7. Plan, coordinate, and execute shutdown and major maintenance activities efficiently with minimal impact on production, safety, and furnace stability.
• 8. Monitor availability of critical spares, optimize inventory levels through consumption analysis, criticality assessment, and lead-time reviews; initiate timely procurement actions; drive spares standardization and indigenization where feasible.
• 9. Ensure effective utilization of SAP PM Module for maintenance planning, execution, spares management, cost tracking, and historical analysis.
• 10. Prepare, review, and implement SOPs, SMPs, and HIRA documents to ensure standardized, safe, and compliant maintenance and operational practices.
• 11. Ensure 100% compliance with corporate safety standards, statutory requirements, and environmental norms, driving a culture of zero incidents through strict adherence to safe practices.
