Job summary

Andor Tech in Bangalore is seeking a Design Engineer, Mechanical with 4–6 years of experience to drive mechanical design for heavy equipment. You will create NX models, develop robust sheet metal components, and generate manufacturing drawings.

You will collaborate with customers, teams, and other business units, ensure GD&T compliance, and manage BOM/ECN through Teamcenter and SolidWorks PDM. Office-based role, Bangalore location.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in NX modelling and sheet metal.
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings in NX: plate, sheet metal, welding, machining, and assemblies.
• Knowledge of GD&T, fits, tolerances and international design standards.
• Experience with BOM/ECN processes.
• Strong communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify structural assemblies and layouts in NX.
• Produce manufacturing drawings for plate, sheet metal, weldments, machining and assembly.
• Develop hose and pipe routings in NX piping module.
• Apply GD&T, fits and tolerances to designs.
• Collaborate with customers, teams and other business units.
• Maintain BOM and ECN records using Teamcenter and SolidWorks PDM.

PositionTitle:Design Engineer, Mechanical

Experience:4 to 6 Years only

Location:Bangalore (Work from Office only)

Required Skills:

• Parametric 3D model creation using NX Modelling and Sheet metal modules.
• Detailed manufacturing drawing creation which includes Plate, Sheetmetal, Welding, Machining and Assembly drawings in NX.
• Able to design and modify Structural assemblies and layouts.
• Good knowledge of standard components like Fasteners, Hydraulic adapters, and Fittings.
• Able to create Hose and Pipe routings in NX piping module.
• Good understanding of Fits, Tolerances and GD&T.
• Knowledge of International design Standards
• Experience into BOM,ECN.
• Communicate well with customers, team members, and other business units.
• Able to describe basic machine mechanisms and their applications.
• Hands-on working experience in Teamcenter and preferable in Solidworks PDM.
• Experience in Solidworks and heavy equipment experiences are preferable.
