Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is seeking a design execution lead in Chennai to drive end-to-end development of wheels, rims, wheel covers, and trim assemblies. You will coordinate with design studios and supply base, ensuring feasibility and on-time delivery for concept to vehicle launch.

Responsibilities include cross-functional integration, sourcing support, and validating designs through DVP&R and DFMEA while tracking progress with KPI metrics and cost/weight/investment targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete design and development cycle for Wheels, Wheel Covers, Rims, and Trim assemblies.
• Ensure on-time delivery of components from early concept through prototype and vehicle production/launch.
• Partner with the Product Design Studio and supply base to align styling requirements with manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate with cross-functional vehicle architecture teams to ensure proper fit, form, function, and clearance.
• Prepare technical source packages, technical specifications, and statement of work (SOW) documents; collaborate with Purchasing to evaluate and source suppliers.
• Establish, manage, and execute component-, sub-system-, and vehicle-level validation test plans (DVP&R, DFMEA) to verify structural integrity, durability, and functional targets.
• Monitor project progress using project management KPIs and C/W/I (Cost/Weight/Investment) efficiency metrics.

• Supplier & Studio Coordination: Partner with the Product Design Studio and supply base to align styling requirements with manufacturing feasibility and engineering constraints.

• Vehicle Integration: Coordinate with cross-functional vehicle architecture teams to ensure proper fit, form, function, and clearance across vehicle operating conditions.

• Sourcing & Purchasing Support: Prepare technical source packages, technical specifications, and statement of work (SOW) documents; collaborate with Purchasing to evaluate and source suppliers.

• Testing & Validation: Establish, manage, and execute component-, sub-system-, and vehicle-level validation test plans (DVP&R, DFMEA) to verify structural integrity, durability, and functional targets.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress using project management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and C/W/I (Cost/Weight/Investment) efficiency metrics.
