Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Tamil Nadu, India seeks a CAD Engineer to design BIW Under Body components using UGNX/Siemens NX. You will create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities include design changes, ECN/ECR processing, checking interfaces and packaging feasibility, performing DMU/clearance checks and applying GD&T per automotive standards while coordinating with manufacturing, CAE and other design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIW design and development.
• Proficiency with UGNX/Siemens NX software.
• Knowledge of GD&T and automotive design standards.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Support DFM/DFA activities and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Prepare design documentation, drawings and release packages.
• Ensure designs comply with OEM standards and project requirements.

• Design and development of BIW Under Body components using UGNX / Siemens NX.

  • Under Body: Floor, Cross Members, Long Members, Front/Rear Under Body, Brackets, Reinforcements, etc.

• Perform design changes, ECN/ECR and engineering modifications.

• Check component interfaces, packaging and assembly feasibility.

• Perform DMU / clearance checks and support design validation.

• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up and automotive design standards.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, CAE and other design teams.

• Support DFM/DFA activities and resolve design/manufacturing issues.

• Prepare design documentation, drawings and release packages.

• Ensure designs comply with OEM standards and project requirements.
