Job summary

WSP India is seeking a Senior BIM Technician to join the Bengaluru Bridges team. The role focuses on producing detailed structural drawings in Tekla Structures – Concrete, AutoCAD and MicroStation where applicable, under the guidance of senior BIM staff.

The candidate will lead drawing preparation, align with WSP CAD/BIM standards, and coordinate deadlines with the Sweden team, ensuring quality and timely delivery while maintaining strict document control.

Qualifications

• Experience producing detailed structural drawings per CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to coordinate priorities and deadlines with overseas teams.
• Strong documentation and template/library development for CAD/BIM work.

Job description

WSP India is currently seeking a Senior BIM Technician to join our Bridges team located at our Bengaluru office.This role is to work as part of WSP GCC Netherlands as part of BIM team and taking a role in the production of detailed structural drawings in Tekla Structures – Concrete, AutoCAD and/ or Microstation if applicable.

• Lead the preparation of Engineering Drawings using WSP CAD/ BIM Standards and Templates.
• Agree priorities & deadlines with Sweden Team, organize work to ensure timely delivery.
• Align work with Quality requirements and maintain Document Control for all work.
• Proactively raising queries, identifying necessary inputs from others & following up.
• Develop templates and libraries for CAD / BIM work.
• Role will be working under the supervision of Principal Engineer or Principal BIM Modeler.
