Job summary

AECOM in Chennai, India, is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Specialist - Electrical to create and manage Building Information Models for electrical systems in construction projects. You will ensure accurate design implementation and collaborate with project teams.

You will develop 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD MEP, resolve clashes, and support design reviews while staying updated with industry standards and local codes in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in BIM for electrical systems.
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design principles and industry standards.
• Experience in electrical design and construction projects.
• Excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills.
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical designs into overall building models.
