Job summary

Egis Road Operation India in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced BIM Modeler – Electrical to develop detailed BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD and related software, ensuring compliance with Indian electrical standards and project specifications.

You will collaborate with architects, structural and MEP teams to deliver clash-free designs, perform clash detection with Navisworks and ACC, and mentor junior staff while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in BIM electrical modeling on complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto for electrical system modeling.
• Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE), particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Strong knowledge of Indian electrical codes and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and related software.
• Create 2D schematics and single-line diagrams with precision and clarity.
• Generate construction drawings from BIM models for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP teams to resolve clashes.

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented BIM Modeler – Electrical to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. • Develop detailed and accurate electrical BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and related software, ensuring compliance with Indian electrical standards and project specifications
• Create 2D schematics and single‑line diagrams with precision and clarity
• Generate comprehensive construction drawings from BIM models for seamless project execution
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve design clashes and conflicts proactively
• Perform clash detection and interface coordination using Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts encompassing power distribution, lighting systems, cable routing, and containment solutions
• Ensure all designs adhere to local regulations, project requirements, and established BIM standards
• Support design teams with timely model updates and technical clarifications to maintain project momentum
• Assist in preparing quantity take‑offs, bills of quantities (BOQ), and coordination drawings for procurement and construction phases
• Meet project deadlines consistently while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Support the BIM management team in delivering high‑quality digital outputs and facilitating seamless information sharing across discipline teams
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the MEP content library to enhance team efficiency
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

What do we need from you

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in BIM electrical modeling on complex projects
• Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto for electrical system modeling
• Demonstrated experience working on collaborative platforms and Common Data Environments (CDE), particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, Indian electrical codes and standards, and comprehensive BIM workflows
• Proven expertise in clash detection, coordination drawings, and interdisciplinary design coordination
• Solid understanding of power distribution systems, lighting design, cable management, and electrical containment systems
• Experience with quantity take‑offs and BOQ preparation
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex design challenges
• Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated capability to mentor and support junior team members
• Proficiency in time management with a proven track record of meeting project deadlines
• Preferred: Experience on projects within the Indian market or South Asian region
