Job summary

Petrocon Engineers & Consultant in Hyderabad is seeking a BIM Modeller – Electrical with 3+ years of experience to develop and coordinate electrical BIM models for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructural projects.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, and have a solid grasp of BIM standards and BEP workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a BIM Electrical Modeller.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model electrical systems including lighting, power, cables, conduits, fire alarm and ELV.
• Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings and construction documentation.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Generate schedules, BOQ and reports from BIM models.
• Ensure BEP and client standards compliance throughout the project.
• Support project teams during design, construction and as-built phases.

# Job Title: BIM Modeller – Electrical (3+ Years Experience)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeller – Electrical with 3+ years of experience in developing and coordinating electrical BIM models for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, along with a strong understanding of electrical systems, BIM standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model electrical systems including lighting, power, cable trays, conduits, fire alarm, ELV, and electrical equipment.
• Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings, and construction documentation.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Generate schedules, quantity take‑offs (BOQ), and reports from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client standards.
• Support project teams throughout design, construction, and as‑built documentation phases.
