Job summary

Assystem in India seeks a detail-oriented BIM Modeler / CAD Draftsman with experience in structural projects, including bridges and buildings. You will prepare detailed structural drawings and BIM models in coordination with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

3D Modelling of Bridges and buildings including AUTOCAD expertise with 3 to 5 years experience The role involves creating GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, shop drawings, and as-built drawings while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering with training in REVIT and Autocad.
• 1-3 years of experience in structural drafting for bridge/building projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural detailing and reinforcement drawings.
• Experience working on infrastructure/metro/bridge projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed structural drawings for bridges and buildings.
• Create and maintain 3D BIM models for structural components.
• Prepare GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in drawings.
• Extract quantities from BIM models for BOQ preparation.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP, etc.).
• Revise drawings as per engineer/client comments.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control as per project procedures.
