Job summary

Buro Happold Limited in Gurugram is seeking a BIM Modeller for PHE to develop detailed BIM models for plumbing, fire protection, and PHE systems. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate PHE into the overall BIM project model and ensure documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities include clash detection, producing construction documents, and adhering to BIM standards. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5 years of experience in BIM for PHE/fire-fighting systems.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM standards.
• Strong communication as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of codes for plumbing, fire protection and PHE systems.

• Develop detailed BIM models for plumbing, fire-fighting, and PHE.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate PHE into BIM.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of PHE/fire-fighting documentation.
• Perform clash detection and resolve clashes.

• Follow BIM standards and assist in QA with juniors.

Your next role

• Develop detailed BIM models for plumbing, fire-fighting, and PHE (Public Health Engineering). Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate PHE/fire-fighting into the overall BIM project model.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of PHE/fire-fighting & and associated documentation.
• Perform clash detection and resolve clashes related to PHE/fire-fighting elements.
• Generate construction documents and support the creation of as‑built documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies related to PHE/fire-fighting & systems.
• Follow company/project BIM standards, templates, and best practices.
• Assist in quality control processes and provide guidance to junior team members, if applicable.

Your skills and Experience

• Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations.
• Interest in built environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, with expertise in PHE/fire-fighting system modeling and detailing.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, fire-fighting, and PHE system design principles and codes.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices in the PHE/fire-fighting discipline.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 5 years of experience.
