Job summary

Buro Happold in Mumbai is seeking a Buildings BIM Engineer Electrical (MEP) to drive the digital delivery of MEP designs and their integration across disciplines. You will work with Revit and other BIM tools to produce multi-disciplinary designs within a collaborative project environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in electrical engineering for high-rise residential or commercial projects in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience desirable.
• Experienced with HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech and BIM platforms.
• Preference for residential and commercial projects in India (High Rise Building).

Responsibilities

• The digital delivery of MEP models and task information management from initiation to project close out.
• Support the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs and sharing information with other discipline teams.
• Task level management of the BIM model.
• Representing Buro Happold in liaising with clients, engineers, and other design team members.
• Develop and maintain excellent team relationships through successful project execution.
• Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team and integration with the standard BIM library.
• Coordinating the activities, output and standardisation of MEP deliverables.
• Supporting development of Revit skills for the MEP team.

About the Opportunity

A Buildings BIM Engineer Electrical (MEP) plays an important role in the design delivery and design integration of projects delivered by the Building Services.

Using technical experience and excellent people skills, the Buildings BIM Engineer Electrical (MEP) will be responsible for the digital delivery of the MEP systems design for projects. The collective team will produce multi-disciplinary designs and associated deliverables in an integrated and holistic manner using appropriate modelling and associated analytical software; Revit technicians play a key role in implementing the design and delivery process.

Your skills and experience

• Ideally be in the range of 5+ years’ experience range
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
• Experienced in Softwares such as HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech and BIM platform
• Preference for engineers with experience in residential and commercial projects in India (High Rise Building)
