Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced BIM HVAC modeller to develop 3D models in Revit MEP from design drawings and specs, coordinating with multi-discipline teams. The role emphasizes model accuracy, BEP compliance, and timely delivery in a dynamic project environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years of BIM HVAC modelling experience across commercial, residential, healthcare or transit projects, with strong Navisworks coordination and BOM extraction capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in BIM HVAC modelling.
• Experience on commercial, residential, healthcare, airports, industrial, hospitality, metro, or mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D HVAC models using Revit MEP from design drawings and specs.
• Model HVAC systems: AHU, CHW, ventilation, smoke, ductwork and piping.
• Prepare layouts, sections, schedules, and construction/shop drawings.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other disciplines using Navisworks.
• Update BIM models per design revisions and engineer comments.
• Generate BOQs, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and BEP; maintain data integrity.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model conflicts.
• Deliver milestones within timelines while maintaining quality.

Job Description

• Develop detailed 3D HVAC models using Autodesk Revit MEP based on design drawings and project specifications.
• Model HVAC systems including:
  • Air Conditioning Systems
  • Chilled Water Systems
  • Ventilation Systems
  • Smoke Extraction Systems
  • Fresh Air Systems
  • Exhaust Air Systems
  • Ductwork and Piping
• Prepare HVAC layouts, sections, schedules, and construction/shop drawings.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines using Navisworks.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and engineer comments.
• Generate BOQs, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, client requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and proper file management.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model caonflicts.
• Deliver project milestones within defined timelines while maintaining quality standards.
