Job summary

VM HR Solutions is seeking an Architectural BIM Modeler on a contract basis to deliver high quality BIM models under tight deadlines. The role requires proficiency in CAD and BIM, with strong Revit and AutoCAD capabilities for architectural projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/B.Arch, and will produce detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and quantity estimations while adhering to BIM standards and project workflow.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/B.Arch from a recognized University.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Contract basis with a 1-year assignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Generate 2D construction drawings, sections, schedules, SLD, and GFC drawings in Revit.
• Ensure BIM models meet Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
• Manage libraries: 2D/3D blocks in AutoCAD and families in Revit.
• Handle Revit tasks: 3D coordination, clash detection, walkthroughs, and family creation.
• Produce quantity take-offs and material/cost estimations.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and project workflow.
• Monitor progress from inception to completion and stay updated on BIM standards.

Shift: Night Shift (4:00 pm to 1:00 am IST)

Pay Range: 6.6Lpa to 7.2Lpa

Job Brief:

We're searching for a dedicated & self-motivated Architectural BIM Modeler (contract basis) with expertise in CAD and BIM, capable of delivering high quality BIM models on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be competent in creating detailed models for architectural projects, ensuring precision and adhering to industry and company standards. This contract-based position is essential in converting architectural concepts

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain both 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using platforms like AutoCAD, Revit, and potentially other relevant software.
• Generate 2D construction drawings, detailed sections, schedules, single-line diagrams (SLD), and general floor control (GFC) drawings predominantly in Revit.
• Ensure BIM models are in alignment with the required Level of Development (LOD).
• Update and manage technical libraries, including 2D and 3D blocks in AutoCAD / Components & Families in Revit.
• Handle tasks related to Revit such as 3D coordination, clash detection, walkthroughs, estimations, and creating/modifying Revit families.
• Produce quantity take-offs, alongside material and cost estimations.
• Maintain adherence to the BIM Execution Plan and project workflow.
• Monitor and deliver models ensuring timely project progress from inception to completion.
• Stay updated with evolving BIM standards, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with BIM 360/ BIM Collaborate Pro is a bonus.
• Deliver work in alignment with company and regulatory standards, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Qualification Requirements :

• Diploma/B.E./ B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/B.Arch from a recognized University.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Other Requirements:

• Proficiency in software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SketchUp, and MS-Office.
• The contractor is responsible for software licensing and must possess suitable computer hardware.
• In-depth understanding of BIM LODs, Revit functionalities like Model-in-place, creating both parametric and non-parametric families.
• Should be aware of BIM’s Best & Worst practices and good troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with tools like Dynamo, Navisworks BIM Collaborate PRO is beneficial.
• Comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to manage tight deadlines and work flexibly.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience with design automation is an advantage.
