Job summary

Employit Coporate Services Thane in Mumbai seeks a skilled BIM Modeler to develop accurate 3D BIM models and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP workflows.

You will perform clash detection with Navisworks, generate 2D drawings from BIM models, update models for design revisions, and ensure compliance with BIM standards. The role requires Revit certification and familiarity with cloud tools like BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, infrastructure or mixed-use projects.
• Proficiency in 4D/5D BIM, parametric modeling, or construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

One of our Client is looking for skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, ensuring coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP systems, and supporting the project lifecycle from design through construction.

The BIM Modeler will collaborate with project teams to create and maintain BIM models, ensure data accuracy, and ensure that all modeling complies with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using tools such as Revit, etc.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for model integration.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Generate 2D drawings, sections, elevations, and schedules directly from BIM models.
• Ensure all models comply with company BIM standards and project guidelines.
• Update models regularly to reflect design revisions and project changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align modeling outputs with project requirements.
• Produce quantity take-offs, material schedules, and data-rich model outputs.
• Provide technical support and assist teams with BIM-related queries during design and construction.
• Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, Hospitality, infrastructure or Mixed-Use projects.
• Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM, parametric modeling, or construction sequencing.
• Certification in Revit or BIM-related software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools like BIM 360, ACC, or similar.
• Exposure to international BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
