Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Assistant Manager – BIM Mechanical to lead and manage Mechanical BIM project delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs, operational efficiency, and adherence to project schedules and BIM standards.

The role involves overseeing BIM modeling and coordination activities, managing team performance, reviewing technical deliverables, and collaborating with BIM Leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Mechanical BIM, proven team management capabilities, and the ability to drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Project Management & Delivery

• Lead and oversee Mechanical BIM modeling, coordination, shop drawing production, and construction documentation activities.
• Plan project deliverables, allocate resources, establish priorities, and monitor progress against project schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of BIM models, shop drawings, and other project outputs.
• Monitor team productivity and implement corrective measures to address delays, technical challenges, and quality concerns.
• Ensure project execution aligns with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project specifications, and established standards.

2. Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop BIM Specialists and other team members to achieve project objectives.
• Allocate tasks based on project requirements, team capabilities, and resource availability.
• Monitor individual and team performance, productivity, and deliverable quality.
• Conduct technical reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support team members in resolving complex modeling and coordination issues.
• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development to improve team competency and performance.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

3. Technical Coordination & Quality Assurance

• Oversee Mechanical BIM models, shop drawings, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Establish and implement quality control procedures, review checklists, and model audit processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection activities using appropriate BIM tools.
