Job summary

Qural Talent Nexus is seeking an experienced BIM Manager (Mechanical) to lead MEP BIM coordination for large US/UK/Gulf projects from Chennai. You will drive BEP, modeling standards, and QA processes, mentor a team of coordinators, and ensure deliverables meet international codes.

You will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and clients, manage CDEs such as BIM 360, and oversee clash detection and constructability reviews throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in MEP BIM coordination and project delivery with leadership as Lead Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• Experience on large-scale US/UK/Gulf projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC.
• Strong knowledge of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Mechanical BIM models from concept through construction and as-built stages.
• Establish and maintain BEP, modeling standards, workflows, and QA protocols.
• Drive clash detection, coordination meetings, and constructability reviews with stakeholders.

Hiring: BIM Manager - Mechanical (10+ Years Exp)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) BIM models from concept design through to construction and as-built stages.
• Establish, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), modeling standards, workflows, and quality assurance protocols.
• Drive multi-disciplinary clash detection, coordination meetings, and constructability reviews with architects, structural engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure all mechanical BIM deliverables strictly align with project-specific US, UK, or Gulf standards and building codes.
• Mentor and lead a team of BIM coordinators and modelers, supporting their technical growth and resource planning.
• Manage model audits, file exchange protocols, and Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM coordination and project delivery, with proven leadership experience as a Lead Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• In-depth practical experience working on large-scale US, UK, or Gulf projects.
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ACC.
• Strong grasp of international BIM standards (such as ISO 19650, AIA, or relevant regional codes).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.
