Job summary

Century Real Estate is seeking a BIM Draftsman to develop and maintain BIM models and 2D drawings for diverse real estate projects. You will work with architects, structural and MEP teams to ensure coordination, accuracy, and timely delivery of documentation.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions. Collaboration with site teams and consultants is essential for project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models and drawings for various real estate projects.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings from architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
• Create and update BIM models using Revit/AutoCAD and other BIM software.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to resolve clashes.
• Prepare GA drawings, detailed drawings, sections, elevations, plans, and construction drawings.
• Incorporate design changes into BIM models and drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards, specs, and codes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams.
• Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness; maintain version control.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and record drawings.
• Support quantity take-offs from BIM models; participate in design coordination meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings per project schedules.

Job description

The BIM Draftsman will be responsible for preparing, developing, and maintaining accurate BIM models, 2D drawings, and detailed construction documentation for real estate projects. The role will work closely with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure design coordination, drawing accuracy, and timely delivery of project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, high-rise, mixed-use, and other real estate projects.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on architectural, structural, and MEP design requirements.
• Create and update BIM models using Revit / AutoCAD and other relevant BIM software.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve design conflicts and clashes.
• Prepare GA drawings, detailed drawings, sections, elevations, plans, and construction drawings as required.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into BIM models and drawings.
• Ensure drawings and models comply with approved design standards, project specifications, and relevant codes.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, project managers, and site teams for design and drawing requirements.
• Assist in clash detection and coordination using BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation of drawings and BIM models.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and record drawings based on project requirements.
• Support quantity take-offs and extraction of project information from BIM models, wherever required.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and incorporate feedback from consultants and project stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and models as per project schedules.
• Maintain BIM standards, naming conventions, templates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with site execution teams to resolve drawing-related queries and provide technical clarifications.
• Assist in improving BIM workflows and standardization across projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination processes.
• Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of building construction methods and detailing.
• Understanding of Civil, Architectural, Structural, and MEP coordination.
