Job summary

Finulent Solutions LLP in Mumbai seeks a Senior Designer (MEP BIM) to lead MEP modelling and coordination, delivering detailed Revit MEP models and ensuring multidisciplinary alignment.

You will drive QA/QC, support Scan-to-BIM and Point Cloud-to-BIM projects, mentor junior BIM engineers, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to meet project standards.

The role requires 5+ years in BIM/VDC, advanced Revit MEP, Navisworks clash detection, and experience on international BIM projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BIM/VDC projects.
• Hands-on Revit MEP modelling at LOD 300-400 and ability to interpret drawings and RFIs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP BIM modelling and coordination activities for assigned projects.
• Develop detailed LOD 300-400 MEP models from design drawings, specifications, surveys and point-cloud data.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other MEP systems with architectural and structural models.
• Perform clash detection, review coordination issues and support resolution.
• Review BIM models and drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct model QA/QC and ensure adherence to project BIM standards.
• Support project setup, modelling strategy, BIM deliverables and production planning.
• Guide and technically support junior BIM engineers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and, when required, participate in technical discussions with clients.
• Support Scan-to-BIM, As-Built and Point Cloud-to-BIM projects.
• Maintain project documentation, model versions and deliverable standards.
• Assist in improving BIM workflows, templates, families and production standards.

The Senior MEP BIM Designer will lead MEP modelling and coordination activities and provide technical support to BIM projects. The role requires strong Revit MEP capability, multidisciplinary coordination, quality control and the ability to guide junior team members.

• Advanced Autodesk Revit MEP mandatory.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building services.
• Navisworks Manage and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience with LOD 300400 modelling.
• Experience with Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud-to-BIM is preferred.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 is an advantage.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM execution processes and information management is an advantage.
• Strong QA/QC and technical review capabilities.

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working on international BIM projects.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in BIM / VDC projects
• Hands‑on experience developing BIM models in Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP) at LOD 300-400, with the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and follow BIM standards, including sheet setup and project documentation.
• Good leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
