Job summary

Neilsoft is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator (MEP) to support a large-scale Data Center project in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background with hands-on, multidisciplinary BIM coordination experience and strong client-facing skills.

You will coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural and Structural disciplines using Revit and Navisworks, perform clashes, develop BIM documentation, and support site-based project execution while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Civil with MEP BIM experience considered.
• 5–7 years of BIM Coordination experience for MEP projects.
• Hands-on, site-based BIM coordination experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client-facing skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM activities across Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines.
• Develop, review, and manage MEP BIM models in line with project standards.
• Perform model federation, clash detection, and coordination reviews using Navisworks and Revit.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and site teams to resolve design issues.
• Lead coordination meetings and track actions through to closure.
• Maintain BIM documentation, schedules, and project deliverables.

BIM Coordinator (MEP)

Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: 5–7 Years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday Working)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator (MEP) to support the execution of a large-scale Data Center project in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background with hands‑on experience in multidiscipline BIM coordination, client interactions, and site-based project execution.

While Data Center project experience is preferred, candidates with experience on other large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects are also encouraged to apply, provided they have strong multidisciplinary coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM activities across Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Structural, and other project disciplines.
• Develop, review, and manage MEP BIM models in accordance with project BIM standards.
• Perform model federation, clash detection, coordination reviews, and issue resolution using Navisworks and Revit.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, clients, and site execution teams to resolve design and construction issues.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings and track action items through closure.
• Prepare constructability reports, RFIs, clash reports, and coordination documentation.
• Create and maintain BIM documentation, sheets, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Support Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) and Revit schedule creation.
• Ensure compliance with LOD 300/LOD 400 modelling standards.
• Maintain project documentation, BIM models, MOMs, and progress updates.
• Adhere to company BIM standards, quality procedures, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Civil may be considered only with strong MEP BIM coordination experience).
• 5–7 years of experience in BIM Coordination for MEP projects.
• Hands‑on experience working on site‑based BIM coordination.
• Proven experience in multidiscipline coordination involving Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
• Strong client‑facing experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in clash detection, constructability reviews, and coordination workflows.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, support systems, technical drawings, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to independently manage coordination activities and meet project deadlines.
