Job summary

SOIGNE ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS requires a BIM Architect / BIM Architectural Designer to join our architectural consultancy team in Chandigarh. Freshers and experienced candidates may apply, and you will work on institutional, residential, and large-scale building projects.

You will develop BIM models in Revit, prepare construction drawings, and coordinate with structural, electrical, and plumbing teams while advancing BIM standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of architectural construction, materials and detailing.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to prepare accurate and well-organised construction documentation.
• Knowledge of Navisworks / BIM coordination will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Revit Families, parameters and model management will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Dynamo / BIM automation will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules and construction drawings.
• Develop architectural components, families and details as required.
• Prepare BIM models from conceptual design through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, electrical, plumbing and other services.
• Identify and resolve design and modelling conflicts through BIM coordination.
• Assist in preparation of BIM-based project documentation and drawing sets.
• Incorporate design changes and maintain model accuracy throughout the project.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and project teams.
• Assist in developing BIM standards, templates and workflows within the organisation.
