Job summary

Soigneconsult is seeking a BIM Architect / BIM Architectural Designer to join our architectural consultancy team in Chandigarh. You will develop and manage architectural BIM models and produce coordinated drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a B.Arch. or M.Arch. and can work on both fresh designs and existing projects with strong coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.

• Maintain model accuracy through the project lifecycle.
• Develop BIM standards, templates and workflows within the firm.

We are looking for skilled and motivated BIM Architects to join our architectural consultancy team and work on a variety of institutional, residential and large-scale building projects.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing architectural BIM models and producing coordinated drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit
• Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules and construction drawings
• Develop architectural components, families and details as required
• Prepare BIM models from conceptual design through detailed design and construction documentation
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, electrical, plumbing and other services
• Identify and resolve design and modelling conflicts through BIM coordination
• Assist in preparation of BIM-based project documentation and drawing sets
• Incorporate design changes and maintain model accuracy throughout the project
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and project teams
• Assist in developing BIM standards, templates and workflows within the organisation

Skills Required

• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Understanding of architectural construction, materials and detailing
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination
• Ability to prepare accurate and well-organised construction documentation
• Knowledge of Navisworks / BIM coordination will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Revit Families, parameters and model management will be preferred
• Knowledge of Dynamo / BIM automation will be an added advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
