Aveksha Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Billing Manager to oversee hospital billing operations across OPD/IPD, insurance processing, and receivables.

The role requires 4–7 years of hospital billing experience, strong Excel/HIS skills, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and NABH standards. You will collaborate with Operations, Finance and Medical Records to optimize revenue cycle and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Commerce or related field.
• 4–7 years of hospital billing experience in a multi-speciality hospital.
• Strong knowledge of IPD/OPD billing, Insurance/TPA and receivables.
• Proficient in MS Excel and HIS/Drucare.
• Strong communication, coordination and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end OPD/IPD billing and final billing.
• Monitor insurance/TPA claims, pre-authorizations, submissions, rejections and settlements.
• Ensure cashless claims submitted within defined TAT.
• Supervise billing team and train staff.
• Prepare billing and receivables MIS reports.
• Ensure adherence to NABH requirements and SOPs.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing hospital billing operations, insurance/TPA claims, receivables, cash reconciliation, and billing team performance while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely discharge billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end OPD/IPD billing and final billing.
• Monitor insurance/TPA claims, pre-authorizations, submissions, rejections and settlements.
• Ensure cashless claims are submitted within defined TAT.
• Monitor TPA receivables, ageing, collections and short-payment disputes.
• Supervise daily cash and billing reconciliation.
• Monitor billing activities through HMS.
• Ensure billing accuracy and minimize revenue leakage.
• Coordinate with Operations, CNO, Finance, Medical Records and other departments.
• Supervise, train and monitor the billing team.
• Ensure adherence to billing SOPs, hospital policies and NABH requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly billing and receivables MIS reports.

Job Specifications:
