Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hospital billing operations and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise and guide the billing team for efficient functioning.
• Monitor IPD, TPA,Cash, Insurance and corporate billing processes.
• Ensure timely submission of claims and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with insurance/TPA teams for claim processing and settlement.
• Monitor billing discrepancies, pending claims and outstanding payments/recovery/Queries.
• Prepare and review billing-related MIS and reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and billing procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Front Office, Medical and Operations teams.
• Handle patient billing queries and resolve billing-related issues.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to reduce revenue leakage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Hospital Administration or related field.
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in hospital billing, preferably with managerial/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of hospital billing, TPA/insurance processes and revenue cycle management.
• Good communication, analytical and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and hospital billing/HIMS.
