Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Beverage Controller to help run the department in line with brand standards and hotel strategies. You will monitor beverage inventories, costs, purchasing, receiving, storage and issuance to support profitability and compliance.

The role requires a university degree or diploma in Hospitality, F&B, Finance, or Commerce and 2+ years in cost control or beverage operations within a hotel. Strong Excel and POS system knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2+ years in Cost Control, Beverage Operations, Stores, Purchasing, or F&B administration in a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of beverage inventory management, stock control, costing and financial analysis.
• Experience with inventory systems, POS systems, and advanced Excel is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with the hotel's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Beverage Controller is responsible for controlling and monitoring all beverage inventories, costs, purchasing, receiving, storage, and issuance activities within the Food & Beverage Division. The role ensures proper stock management, minimizes losses, supports profitability objectives, and maintains compliance with financial and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of work experience in Cost Control, Beverage Operations, Stores, Purchasing, or Food & Beverage administration within a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of beverage inventory management, stock control procedures, beverage costing, and financial analysis is required. Experience with inventory management systems, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, administrative, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a thorough understanding of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service operations being an added advantage.
