Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience delivering face and body treatments in premium salons/spas.
• Practical experience with advanced treatments such as facials, peels, microdermabrasion, and body therapies; laser/light devices advantageous.

• Deliver the full range of face and body treatments to prescribed protocol and high standard under medical supervision as needed.

Beauty Therapist

The Role

Reaviva Holistic Health is seeking a Beauty Therapist to deliver treatments on its treatment floor. The role holds responsibility for the quality and safety of every treatment performed, for the condition and readiness of the treatment room, and for the standard of care a client experiences from the moment they are received to the moment they leave.

Reaviva serves a discerning clientele who expect consistency. The position is therefore suited to a therapist who works to protocol without variation, who is attentive to detail, and who takes responsibility for careful treatment delivery and adherence to the prescribed protocol. The role does not include client consultations, diagnosis, deciding treatment suitability or preparing treatment plans; these are handled by the Aesthetic Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the full range of face and body treatments offered by the centre to the prescribed protocol and to a consistently high standard, including advanced facials, peels, body therapies and device led treatments, under the supervision of the medical team where a treatment requires it
• Follow the treatment plan and instructions provided by the Aesthetic Physician. Report any client concern, discomfort or unexpected reaction to the medical team before proceeding; do not independently assess or change the treatment plan
• Prepare the treatment room before each appointment and restore it afterwards, maintaining the standards of hygiene, sterilisation, linen and equipment care required at all times
• Maintain an accurate record of every treatment performed, including the products used, the settings applied, the client's response and the observations relevant to the next session
• Work to the appointment schedule, keeping each treatment to its allotted time so that the day runs to plan and no client is kept waiting
• Relay only the aftercare instructions provided by the medical team and direct questions about treatment choices, home-care products or packages to the appropriate team member
• Manage the consumables and stock allocated to the treatment floor, record usage accurately and report shortages in sufficient time for them to be replenished
• Attend product and equipment training, and maintain current working knowledge of every treatment and device in use at the centre
• Uphold the confidentiality, discretion and presentation standards expected in a premium health and wellness environment, and make no claim about a treatment or an outcome that has not been approved by the medical team

Candidate Requirements

• A diploma or certification in beauty therapy, cosmetology or aesthetics from a recognised institution. An international qualification such as CIDESCO or ITEC will be considered an advantage
• Two to five years of experience delivering face and body treatments in a premium salon, spa, aesthetic centre or wellness establishment
• Practical experience of advanced treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and body therapies. Experience of operating light and laser based devices will be considered an advantage
• A courteous, composed and attentive manner with clients, and the ability to put a client at ease on a first visit
• Conversational English and fluency in Hindi.
• A disciplined approach to hygiene, sterilisation, equipment handling and record keeping
• Well presented, punctual and dependable, with the stamina that a full treatment day requires
• Availability to work on site at Santacruz West for the full working week

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in premium salon, spa, medical aesthetics or dermatology led environments are encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to a discerning clientele, or experience of working alongside a medical team on protocol driven treatments, will be considered a strong advantage.
