Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall technical aspect of package engineering activities, which includes:
• Preparing specifications, data sheets
• Evaluating technical bids and managing technical clarifications
• Reviewing and approving supplier documents

Requirements

• Expertise in handling concepts of various equipment and packages in FPSO/Offshore facilities.
• Problem solving capabilities for handling related issues with various interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of various handling equipment and their capabilities.
• Understanding and reviewing various package drawings and assessing handling aspects.
• Responsible for preparing mechanical handling study reports and presentations.
• Regularly participates in Model Review Sessions to present handling details and to address all material handling related queries.
• Recommends improvements to ensure the most efficient and cost‑effective handling procedures.
• Hands‑on knowledge in 3D review software such as Aveva NAVIS Simulate.
• Responsible for interfacing with all stakeholders and 3D designers to implement the handling requirements.
• Highly proactive and involved in everyday coordination to quickly understand and resolve issues.
• Very good presentation and communication skills.
• Minimum experience of 2 years and 2 projects in performing the above activities.
• Experience with packages – mechanical handling equipment, deck cranes, static equipment, rotating equipment, package/skid items.
