Job summary

Dental World Super Speciality Clinics in Kolkata invites a BDS Dentist to join our team. The role covers clinical duties, patient care and collaboration with specialists to deliver comprehensive dental services.

You will examine patients, develop treatment plans, perform procedures, manage records, educate patients on options and maintain high hygiene and clinic standards while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• BDS degree in dentistry with valid license.
• Strong clinical dentistry skills applicable to general care.
• Excellent communication with patients and teams.
• Ability to coordinate with specialists for advanced treatments.
• Willingness to perform non-clinical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, diagnose basic dental conditions and prepare treatment plans.
• Perform general dental procedures within the doctor’s area of competence.
• Take patient history and maintain proper clinical records.
• Coordinate with specialists for advanced or specialised treatments.
• Ensure proper follow-up of patients after treatment.
• Explain treatment options, procedures and costs to patients in simple language.
• Counsel patients and address basic concerns and queries.
• Maintain good communication and a professional relationship with patients.
• Follow up with patients for pending treatments and appointments.
• Assist in patient coordination and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Make or support patient follow-up calls where required.
• Maintain treatment plans, records and other required reports.
• Coordinate with the front desk, assistants and other members of the clinical team.
• Support the clinic in improving patient experience and treatment acceptance.
• Follow clinic protocols, SOPs and instructions.
• Maintain proper hygiene, sterilisation and clinical standards.
• Ensure proper use and care of dental equipment and materials.
• Work closely with senior doctors and the management team.
• Take up other reasonable clinical or non-clinical responsibilities assigned by the Organisation.
