Job summary

Third Wave Coffee is seeking a Barista to craft high-quality coffee, beverages and light bites, following our recipes and standards while delivering a warm, memorable experience to every customer.

You will take orders, manage POS transactions, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, assist with opening and closing duties, monitor stock, and participate in training to continually improve knowledge of coffee, products, and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and food products as per Third Wave Coffee recipes and standards.
• Deliver a friendly, warm, and memorable experience to every customer.
• Take customer orders accurately and manage POS billing and cash transactions responsibly.
• Ensure product quality, consistency, presentation, and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the caf, bar area, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow all standard operating procedures related to food safety, beverage preparation, grooming, and caf operations.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, including setup, cleaning, and stock checks.
• Monitor stock levels, support timely replenishment, and help control product wastage.
• Handle customer queries, requests, and feedback professionally and escalate concerns when required.
• Work collaboratively with the Shift Manager and caf team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience and contribute to caf sales.
• Participate in training programs and continuously develop knowledge of coffee, products, and service standards.
• Ensure proper care and handling of caf equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional attitude while representing the Third Wave Coffee brand.
